Our color palette is designed to reinforce our brand equity and carve out an ownable color space in the category. Our primary color, DT Orange, is energetic, memorable, and connected to our history. Shades of DT Orange can be used for UI interactions.
We balance Dark/White equally in our brand design. Designers should work together to ensure that there is a balance of dark and light compositions.

Gradient
One of our primary design tools is a gradient ‘Glow,’ built from our primary brand color, DT Orange, and several supporting colors. This gradient is used in several ways, including our icons, the gestural trace, and the Glow on light backgrounds.
Gradient Combinations
Beyond the primary ‘Glow’ gradient these are the other acceptable gradient combinations that can be used as the Trace’s glow.
Color & Gradient Usage
Contrasting compositions using our DT Dark or DT White colored backgrounds.
Color Glow is used to brand compositions in lighter backgrounds.
Color can be used to separate information on infographics.
Primary color (DT Orange) can be used as a base instead of DT Dark and DT White.
Secondary color palette can be used to accentuate details.
Primary Color palette is used within the Trace and Glow.
